Great fun. The author really portrayed the dog realistically. They are not only comfort animals and marvelous friends, they are very protective of their owners. I would hope Authors who provide their first book in a series for free to offer their second book in the series for the price of $0.99 to $2.99. That way I can determine if I want to read the rest of the series… I feel gypped by having to pay $5.99 for the second book and then being disappointed.

I enjoyed reading this book and fell in love with Sherlock. Interesting characters in a cozy town .
  • Just OK

This author’s personality comes through and he seems like a lovely person, but honestly, I have read two of this series and find the dialogue elementary at best, and annoyingly childish at worst. These would be great books for the 13 and under crowd. I do not recommend for adults.

Fun book. Just enough complications to keep you wondering.

This one GREAT book! I wasn't quite sure what exactly to expect based on the title. But, I really liked the cover. For a writer that usually writes science sure didn't show. The story line, descriptions everything that makes a great book was there. Not hard to follow. And I never saw the ending coming. Best of all, there was a dog as a very important part. I can't wait for the next book in this series!!
